ABOUT

Politics has been in my life, one way or another, and I would like to build a better country that serves people and communities.

My motivation to join the Conservative Party comes from my upbringing and life experiences.

I was the first to go to university, after my parents moved to the UK from Turkey in the late 1980s. They settled here and worked hard for me and my sister; my dad working as a HGV driver and mum in the local Tesco. They taught us the values of hard work, self-reliance, compassion, and individual responsibility.

Growing up in Milton Keynes and working in London, I am a proud Brit and grateful that this country gave my family an opportunity to aspire and build a future.

My career began in Government. Working in HM Treasury, I focused on improving structures to create a more efficient and effective department. In the Foreign Office, my priority was to investigate national security challenges linked to hostile states.

In 2022, I moved into the private sector, working with businesses, start-ups and SMEs across the UK, Europe and the US. My focus areas are commercial growth, business resilience and navigating political and reputational challenges.

I studied at the University of Sheffield and King’s College London.
